چکیده
Abstract Numerical weather models (NWMs) are important data sources for space geodetic techniques. Additionally, the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) provides many observations to continuously improve and enhance NWM. Existing comparative analysis experiments on NWM tropospheric GNSS delays suffer from being conducted in highly specific regions with limited spatial coverage; furthermore, length of time experiment is too short analyzing seasonal characteristics, insufficient number stations limits density, making it difficult obtain equipment-dependent distribution characteristics. After strict quality control preprocessing, we have calculated compared bias standard deviation delay approximately 7000 selected Nevada Geodetic Laboratory (NGL) 2020 European Centre Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) Reanalysis v5 (ERA5) hourly ray-traced same group stations. Characterizations time, space, linkage receivers antennas reveal positive biases 4 mm NGL zenith (ZTD) relative ZTD over most globe; moreover, there a amplitude reaching 6 bias, an antenna-related mean 1.6 delay. The obtained results can be used provide priori appropriate uncertainties; additionally, they applied assess suitability using NWMs real-time positioning solutions.

Tropospheric Delay Modelling at Radio Wavelengths for Space Geodetic Techniques
In the past few years, numerical weather models (NWM) have been investigated to improve mapping functions which are used for tropospheric delay modeling in VLBI and GPS data analyses. The Vienna Mapping Functions VMF are based on direct raytracing through NWM, and so they are able to exploit the full information provided in the NWM. On the other hand, the Isobaric Mapping Functions IMF are usin...

Here, we investigate the possible optical anisotropy of vacuum due to gravitational field. In doing this, we provide sufficient evidence from direct coordinate integration of the null-geodesic equations obtained from the Lagrangian method, as well as ray-tracing equations obtained from the Plebanski’s equivalent medium theory. All calculations are done for the Schwarzschild geometry, which resu...

متن کاملAccuracy Improvement of Tropospheric Delay Interpolation in RTK Networks
The effect of troposphere on the signals emitted from global navigation satellite system (GNSS) satellites, appears as an extra delay in the measurement of the signal traveling from the satellite to receiver. This delay depends on the temperature, pressure, humidity as well as the transmitter and receiver antennas location. In GNSS positioning, tropospheric delay effects on accuracy of differen...
